The school is near the sea, 500 m from the port of Pointe Rouge. It was built in 1947 in a parc large about 13 ha. First its creation is only an idea of a man : Pol-Simon. For him the horros of the second war were behind the humanity. So he wanted to create a school with mixity of wondering. Was born the first international classes. A meeting of cultures in Marseilles!

Today, Marseilleveyre has more than 2000 pupils from middle to high school. The school is caracterized by a real diversity. That's why pupils can study sport, danse, sealing, international section italian, international spanish section, international arabic section, greec, latin and also russian languages. Naturaly english is very present for all the levels. At school it's possible to eat everyday : about 1200 meals a day, and sleep for more than one hundred pupils.
