Meeting in Turkey in May

Dear guests!

The final meeting of "Kind Minds Kind Mouths" in Turkey is comming soon!

Program will start 29th May in Samsun. The main subject of last meating is talking about the results of our 2 years teamwork.

In that time we have lernt new ways of thinking, shared our points of view, generated new ideas, had the cultural exchange. We have become a friends, we have reduced the distance between us, our our countries have closer to each other. It was really grate experience! Hope to see you soon!

The presentation of Pay it Forward

The activitiy in Vienna on November was showing the film "Pay it Forward". Students watched the film in each school and then schools prepared the questionnaire on the topic and analyse of the results. We have a few recommendations:

1. First formulate the questionnaire about the movie (Pay it Forward).

2. Then choose your pupils that you want to watch the movie together.

3. After watching movie, give it to your students and get the answers.

4. Students do a favour in a week and the best favour will be chosen and awarded.

Comenius is an international project. Our s are from 9 different countries with different histories and cultures, but we all have in common English. Look up word translations and usage examples, get conjugations for verbs, listen to pronunciation and create flash cards to memorize new words. 220 dictionaries from English to more then 20 languages from Oxford University Press, HarperCollins Publishers and other publishers or created by ABBYY.

To use this dictionary will be very good for all users. You can recomend this dictionary to your students as a support for learning a foreign language. Turkish logo creators

At the beginning, when the "Kind Mind Kind Mouths” has just started the mebers of the project were tasked to create a one logo. The each school should organize a contest for the best logo among the students. Our 6th and 7th grades students worked together. While the students were discussing about the logo of the project, they talked with their teacher about the simbol of the "Kind Mind Kind Mouths”. How they create thair logo. Children decided the main subject of the project is it's own title. That 's why we had a lot of works with colorfull name of the project. While they were drowing a logo for the project, they did it as designer and enjoied it very much.

The eTwinning action promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providing support, tools and services to make it easy for schools to form short or long term partnerships in any subject area.

The eTwinning Portal is the main meeting point and workspace for the action. Available in twenty-three languages, the eTwinning Portal now has the involvement of nearly 50 000 individual members and over 4000 projects between two or more schools across Europe. The Portal provides online tools for teachers to find partners, set up projects, share ideas, exchange best practice and start working together immediately using various customised tools available on the eTwinning platform. Launched in 2005 as the main action of the European Commission’s eLearning Programme, eTwinning has been firmly integrated in the Lifelong Learning Programme since 2007. Its Central Support Service is operated by European Schoolnet, an international partnership of 26 European Ministries of Education developing learning for schools, teachers and pupils across Europe. eTwinning is further supported at national level by 30 National Support Services.
